Training on the use of ‘Everybody has Mental Health’ Manual took place in April 2013, (20th till 24th) in Jordan, at Schneller School. 15 trainees attended this workshop from Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan and Egypt.
The purpose of this workshop was to share experiences and draw lessons from the experience of community organizations active in the fields of mental health and advocacy. 12 participants attended this workshop from Lebanon, Egypt and Palestine, and a report was produced in Arabic with a summary in English.
As the “Arab Spring” events have shown, youth are capable of playing an active role in society, by overcoming their fears and taboos and in taking collective action, and even leading a movement for social change and for realizing their social, economic and legal rights. For all those reasons, MHP conducted a workshop where 44 participants attended from Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, Jordan and representatives from Norway.

MHP printed 500 copies of the manual which was launched in the 56th Annual International Arab Book Fair in Beirut-Lebanon which is an important regional event that takes place annually in Lebanon, hosting more than 300 publishers from Lebanon and all over the Arab countries.
Two orientation workshops were conducted in Palestine, 28 participants attended from different organizations (Nafs for Empowerment, the Palestinian Counseling Center- PCC and UNRWA). A report was produced after these workshops.

An orientation on WTNP was conducted in Lebanon; 12participants mental health workers from different NGO’s and institutions attended (Massar Association, Kafa, Red cross, Al mabarrat, Al Imam Hadi association, National center for Rehabilitation and Development). A report of the workshop was produced.
The purpose of this workshop was to share experiences and draw lessons from the experience of community organizations active in the fields of Mental Health and psycho-social support as part of community primary health care. 45 participants attended this workshop from Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, and Palestine. Representative of NCMH from Norway also attended. A report was produced in Arabic with a summary in English
